Essential Oils
The course explores a range of essential oils commonly used to support hair and scalp health, including:
Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cypress, Eucalyptus Radiata, Silver Fir, Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lemongrass, Patchouli, Rosemary, Sandalwood and Thyme.
Carrier Oils
Coconut, Hazelnut, Jojoba, Rosehip, Sesame and Wheatgerm.
Hydrolats
Angelica, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cornflower, Cypress, Eau de Rose, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Immortelle, Lavender, Melissa, Neroli, Peppermint, Rosemary and Thyme.

We recommend loose, comfortable trousers and tops that allow easy movement. All loose tops should be tucked in during practical work. Shoes should be flat and comfortable.

Live Learning
Learn from the comfort of your home. Our live learning takes place over two evenings via Zoom. Perfect for those who cant travel down to our academy. We run a variety of different live learning CPD through out the year.
- Comprehensive Course Materials: Upon booking, all course notes will be sent to you, so you’re prepared from day one.
- Interactive Learning: Participate in live sessions with our expert instructors and connect with fellow aromatherapy enthusiasts and Therapists.
- Flexible Learning: With convenient schedules spread over multiple evenings. This course takes place over two Thursday evenings (2.5 hours each evening).
E-Learning
We offer a range of E-Learning CPD and Diploma courses where you can learn online at your own pace.
Booking & Cancellations
In House Course Booking & Cancellations
Book online, email courses@penny-price.com, or call 01455 251020. You will be asked for full payment of the course fee or given the option to pay for your course in instalments by choosing to ‘pay in three’ with PayPal or in four instalments via Clear Pay.
All bookings will be acknowledged with a letter of acceptance, sent via email unless otherwise requested, and there will be an official enrolment form to fill out and return to the academy together with copies of any pre-requisite qualifications. There is a booking deadline of the Monday, two weeks before the course start date.
If you are unable to attend an in-House course for any reason, the following will apply:
- Cancellations giving over 14 days’ notice will receive a full refund (or have funds transferred to another course booking) less a cancellation fee of £10.
- If you fail to attend on the day of the course with no reasoning, you will not receive a refund
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date will forfeit 50% of the full course fee paid.
- If there are mitigating circumstances, please contact the Academy to organise a solution as soon as you are able to do so.
If the Academy cancels a course:
- To be given a free transfer to the next available course of the same title or value.
- If the course is available via other learning methods, the Student will have the option to transfer to Distance Learning, or Live Learning where available, with no added cost. If the student chooses to transfer to E-Learning then a refund for the difference will be processed upon enrolment.
- If the course is a CPD, the student has the option to take the course on a 1-2-1 basis for an extra charge of £75 per day
Distance Learning Booking & Cancellations
Book online, email courses@penny-price.com, or call 01455 251020. Full payment is taken at the time of booking. Once a Distance Learning course has been purchased and your application has been accepted, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your course materials.
- If you choose to cancel within this period, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the course materials to us. Once we have received the returned parcel, we will process your refund for the course.
- Please ensure that all course materials are returned in good condition. If any items are damaged, marked, used, or otherwise returned in a condition that significantly reduces their value, we will deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect the loss in value.
Live Learning Booking & Cancellations
Once a course has been applied for, paid for in full, and learning materials or access details have been issued, cancellations cannot be accepted. If you experience any difficulties or are dissatisfied with any aspect of your course, please contact the Academy directly and we will do our best to assist you. Your statutory rights are not affected.
E-Learning Booking & Cancellations
Courses can be booked online, by email to courses@penny-price.com or by telephone on 01455 251020. Full payment is taken at the time of booking. Once the course has been applied for, paid in full and sent to the student then there is no option to cancel. If you are dissatisfied with the course at any point then please contact the academy directly. Your statutory rights are not affected.
