Penny Price
Penny Price, a distinguished aromatherapist with formal training dating back to 1983, embarked on teaching after three years of expertise in the field. Committed to excellence in product and training, Penny established Penny Price Aromatherapy Ltd and the Penny Price Academy in 2003.
In 2001, Penny was awarded the exclusive research degree in aromatherapy by Oxford University. Her lectures span across the UK and international platforms, offering profound knowledge. Her Master’s Degree, titled “Managing School Environments: children’s responses to change in the aromatic environment,” reflects her depth of expertise. An accomplished author, Penny contributes regularly to magazines and has penned influential works like “Aromatherapy for Babies and Children” and contributed to “Aromatherapy for Health Professionals.”
Colette Somers
Colette trained as a Clinical Aromatherapist in 1995 and since then has run her own practice in Winchester, working with clients with a variety of issues. She also works as a therapist in the local hospice and for a cancer support centre. She is passionate about the use of therapies in palliative and cancer care and to that end has received training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in complementary therapies and cancer and end of life care.
Until recently, Colette ran her own Penny Price satellite academy and is still a tutor at the main Penny Price Academy of Aromatherapy. She loves combining the academic side of teaching with the hands-on practical side of being a therapist. One of her favourite activities is teaching for the PPA Saturday Clubs!
