Accredited by several major therapy bodies, this course is designed to be studied in your own space and in your own time.
A personal tutor is assigned throughout the course, which is presented in 3 booklets of 13 lessons in total. The course is assessed by continuous assessment
The correspondence modules are a flexible approach to learning but require self-discipline and a high degree of dedication. The student should expect to complete a minimum of 100 hours home study during the course. The Academy offers tutor support via email or telephone so the student can receive encouragement and advice at any time during the course. Successful students will be awarded the Academy Distance Learning Certificate in Anatomy and Physiology, which is recognised by the IAM and the IFPA.
The distance course is assessed by continuous assessment through essay and multiple-choice questions. The ITEC examination is not an option with distance learning.
